Once again DETAILS Magazine kicked-off New York Fashion Week with its second annual TxT: Tech & Tastemakers Summit. Bringing together thought leaders in fashion, art, and technology for a curated series of panels and quick fires, the agenda addressed topics ranging from the rise in wearable technology, digital art, and the revolution of retail.

Playing host to nearly 300 fashion and technology insiders, DETAILS took over the Swiss Institute in SoHo to rally some of our favorite influencers including Michael Bastian (Designer), Dan Rookwood (U.S. Editor, MR PORTER), Peter Vidani (Creative Director, Tumblr), José Neves (Founder/CEO, Farfetch), Shubhankar Ray (Global Brand Director, G-Star RAW), Alexander Gilkes (Founder, Paddle8), Alan Tisch (Co-Founder/CEO, Spring) and many more. The space featured a custom sound bar by Bang & Oulfsen, style sketches by Richard Haines, and custom curated lounges by our friends at TRNK.

On the heels of London Collections: Men, DETAILS and MR PORTER gathered the at the forefront of fashion and technology for the DETAILS TxT: Tech & Tastemakers Summit, London. Also attended by influential forces shaping the tech scene in East London/Silicon Roundabout, the summit hosted a series of discussions around the latest innovations at the intersection of fashion and technology. Speakers included: Patrick Grant of E. Tautz, Designer Lou Dalton, Matt Bush of Google, Jo Bertram of Uber UK & Ireland, and Chris Martin of Lyst.

To kick-off New York Fashion Week, DETAILS Magazine launched it’s first-to-market TxT: Tech & Tastemakers Summit bringing together thought leaders in fashion, entertainment, and technology for a curated series of panels and quickfires to address the rise in online content, native advertising, and the future of menswear.

For one day in NYC, we took over Industria Studios to rally some of our favorite people including: Nick Wooster, Tommy Ton, Pete Cashmore, Andy Spade, Eric Jennings, Olivier van Themsche, Tyler Thoreson, and so many more. The space hosted shoe shines by Bally and trims by Decatur & Sons along side exquisite lounge areas designed by S Russell Groves.  The summit hosted nearly 300 of the fashion and technology industry insiders and enthusiasts – success?? We think so.
