Alex Meraz doesn’t resemble his bigheaded character, “Paul,” of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, in theaters June 30. It’s no wonder he’s perfect for playing a werewolf; his dancing and artistic backgrounds give him an unmatched energy level and natural ease of movement. As for his G-Shock? “It looks pretty incredible,” he admires, “I love this orange color. It’s light, durable, and I’m pretty rough when it comes to my accessories, so it can withstand my lifestyle.” Other than a knack for scratching things up, Alex relaxes by playing chess and channeling his creativity. “I paint…and it’s not just stick figures!” he jokes. But he still seeks adventure, recently participating in a jet flight simulation program at the U.S. Naval Base in Norfolk, VA.
