A solo recording artist on A&M/ Octone, Kevin Hammond relishes the simple life—which helps keep him grounded. And despite doing the majority of his shopping at local thrift shops around L.A., he enjoys getting dressed up once in a while. With a G-SHOCK on his wrist, he notes, “it makes me feel more sophisticated. I like that it can be casual or dressy. It makes a statement.” Kevin just recorded his debut album, but his melodies stick with you, and his voice is truly memorable. If he had to describe himself as an artist, he suggests, “I’m mostly a singer. I play piano and guitar as well. But I definitely honed my gift of singing.”
